I’m so happy spring has officially begun, even though it’s still cold outside. At least the sun shined today. Last week, when these pictures were taken, it was like 17°C! Unfortunately, the weather was only that good for one day. But I have a lot of ideas for spring - and summer -outfits, so I can’t wait untill it gets warmer outside. I really would like to show them to you!
Here I’m wearing a black top and a red rose print blouse. Both pieces are vintage.
I combined them with a casual denim short and black tights. I really like the combination of black, denim and red. What do you think of this combination?
Oh and I also wrote a little poem I hope you like it!
Hi! The last weeks, it rained almost everyday. So for this outfit shoot I had to take an umbrella with me, which gives a nice touch to the outfit. I love clothes with floral prints, so I couldn’t resist buying this cute dress during sales a few weeks ago. I combined it with a black legging, a grey cardigan and a long jeans jacket. Hope you like it!
All the pictures from this photography post were taken while I was in the backseat of the car.
We were riding through Lille, it rained the whole morning but just as we left, the sun came through. While we were driving, we passed a lot of beautiful buildings and places. Of course, I wanted to capture them all with my camera, so I decided to open the window, and I started taking pictures. The camera made a lot of noise, and my parents were joking that I was like a Japanese tourist. (Japanese tourists are known for taking a picture of literally everything they come across; if you read this and you're Japanese, sorry haha.)
But I was surprised by the result; some pictures turned out really nice. So i was thinking of making a new category named “on the way” or “on the move”, using the pictures I take when I’m in a car (not driving myself haha), bus, train, …
What do you think of this idea? Or do you have any other suggestions for a category name? Let me know in the comments below!
Wearing a cute beanie because otherwise my ears would freeze off. While these pictures were taken, it was like –3°C.
I love the combination of my army green knit cardigan with a white button up shirt and a pair of high waisted jeans. It’s a comfy, casual winter outfit. A choker and a vintage necklace (which you almost can’t see because of my hair - curly hair problems; you even can hardly see my earrings).
Anyway, let me know what you think of this oufit!
I took these pictures some time ago, during Christmas holidays, when there was frost on the trees because of the cold. So I went outside into the freezing cold to capture the beautiful nature with my camera. I’m actually reallly happy with the way these pictures turned out. It’s been a while since I’ve written poems, up to now, because in this blogpost you can read the ones I wrote yesterday. (I had a moment of inspiration!) You can read them in Dutch. (I tried to write them in English too, but I was not satisfied with them...) Anyway, enjoy the pictures!
It has been freezing cold last weeks, but since I didn't post an outfit on my blog for a while, a few days ago my mum and I decided to take pictures inside. They are taken in the attic of our house, because that’s the only place with enough light to take good pictures. It’s also my mum’s workplace. (In some pictures you can see a painting she made.) Besides, the day we were shooting, I was just recovered from being ill for a week so I look a bit tired…
Anyway, I’m wearing a grey knitted sweater I bought during sales at H&M, combined with a comfy pair of black leggings (also from the H&M). I usually like to combine a darker color like grey or black with pastels or a vintage item, but this time I kept it casual.
Furthermore, I’m in love with my new sneakers from New Balance!
Two days ago, I felt really tired, although I slept for 12 hours. (Yes, I can do that, due to the holidays!) But still, I couldn’t bring myself to do something because I felt a bit down too. A 'To Do' list was waiting for me (fun things included), but i could only move from one couch to the other.
But in the late afternoon, I finally decided to go outside. I took the camera with me and started taking pictures around my house. You can see some of the pictures below. I always find it a challenge to discover the beautiful details in places i use to spend a lot of time (like in or around your house).
My cat Binkie did keep me company while I was taking pictures, so I also have some pictures of him, but that’s for another Binkie-photo series haha .
Some of the pictures were taken yesterday, when I tried to make some self-portraits and they actually turned out kinda nice. There are photos from my hot chocolate too, that I tried to make instagram-worthy.
I hope you like them, enjoy!
The exams are finally over, so yesterday I had time again to shoot an outfit.
A few weeks ago, I bought this cute plaid skirt in a thrift shop. (Did I already mentioned I looove vintage shopping, haha)
Also wearing a fluffy, black bomber jacket because it's really cold outside.
The outfit that I'm wearing is perfect for a sunny autumn day.
I really love my velvet maxi skirt, which I bought in a vintage store in Antwerp.
If you didn't notice yet: most of the time, I wear my Dr. Martens with such an outfit, but... I've expanded my shoe-collection with a pair of brown ankle boots!🙂
Hi! Welcome to my blog!
