English: Hi! Normally, I planned to post an outfit on the blog today, but because I have a serious cold, I didn’t go outside to take pictures... Luckily, I still have some pictures that I wanted to show you about my day in Antwerp, which is exactly a month ago. I met with a few friends there and I had an amazing day!
English: Wow. It’s been one week after the Easter Vacation and I’m already drowning in homework! I have to admit, half of the things I am stressing about now are stuff I could have done during holidays. But I didn’t, oops. Anyway, as promised, here is the second part of my schooltrip to London. We visited a few museums (most of the museums in London are free to enter), and went to the musical Aladdin. It was my first experience seeing a musical. You can read more about my experiences below, but only in Dutch. ;)
Nederlands: Wow.
Mijn eerste musical-ervaring! Lees hieronder meer over mijn belevenissen in London. :)
Hi! Exactly a week ago, I was walking around in London. I was there on a school trip for three days. I took a lot of pictures because London has so many cute spots, beautiful buildings,…
So I had a lot of work this morning selecting the best pictures and editing them all. But I really enjoyed doing it.
Here is the first part of my pictures, showing the first day in London. You can read more about this day below. :)
(Only in Dutch)
I took these pictures some time ago, during Christmas holidays, when there was frost on the trees because of the cold. So I went outside into the freezing cold to capture the beautiful nature with my camera. I’m actually reallly happy with the way these pictures turned out. It’s been a while since I’ve written poems, up to now, because in this blogpost you can read the ones I wrote yesterday. (I had a moment of inspiration!) You can read them in Dutch. (I tried to write them in English too, but I was not satisfied with them...) Anyway, enjoy the pictures!
Two days ago, I felt really tired, although I slept for 12 hours. (Yes, I can do that, due to the holidays!) But still, I couldn’t bring myself to do something because I felt a bit down too. A 'To Do' list was waiting for me (fun things included), but i could only move from one couch to the other.
But in the late afternoon, I finally decided to go outside. I took the camera with me and started taking pictures around my house. You can see some of the pictures below. I always find it a challenge to discover the beautiful details in places i use to spend a lot of time (like in or around your house).
My cat Binkie did keep me company while I was taking pictures, so I also have some pictures of him, but that’s for another Binkie-photo series haha .
Some of the pictures were taken yesterday, when I tried to make some self-portraits and they actually turned out kinda nice. There are photos from my hot chocolate too, that I tried to make instagram-worthy.
I hope you like them, enjoy!
A few days ago, a good friend of mine, Nimsi, stayed at my house for two days. (Well of course, not 'my house', but my parents'.)
We had a lot of fun, and I watched "The Notebook" for the first time. You know, that romantic movie based on the novel written by Nicholas Sparks. Usually, I don't really like romantic movies. I'm more into superhero movies, like the ones from Marvel, or action movies like "Mission Impossible." But I did like "The Notebook", because it was a beautifull, simple story. (And though I don't like the word "cute", I also have to admit that the couple in the movie was really cute, hehe.)
Nimsi and I also made a walk in the forest next to my house. I had my camera with me; you can see the result in the pictures below. 🙂 Enjoy!
I've always wanted to take pictures at the beach, now I finally could do it! Two weeks ago, we were at the seaside for a weekend and the weather was just perfect! Last week, the weather was even better so we went again to the same camping and spend another three days at the beach. I really had a good time, just chilling on the beach, making bycicle tours, walking barefoot in the water...
I hope the pictures will send out a peaceful vibe that I feel everytime when I'm near by the ocean... :)
Hi! Welcome to my blog!
