Hi! Exactly a week ago, I was walking around in London. I was there on a school trip for three days. I took a lot of pictures because London has so many cute spots, beautiful buildings,…
So I had a lot of work this morning selecting the best pictures and editing them all. But I really enjoyed doing it.
Here is the first part of my pictures, showing the first day in London. You can read more about this day below. :)
(Only in Dutch)
I took these pictures some time ago, during Christmas holidays, when there was frost on the trees because of the cold. So I went outside into the freezing cold to capture the beautiful nature with my camera. I’m actually reallly happy with the way these pictures turned out. It’s been a while since I’ve written poems, up to now, because in this blogpost you can read the ones I wrote yesterday. (I had a moment of inspiration!) You can read them in Dutch. (I tried to write them in English too, but I was not satisfied with them...) Anyway, enjoy the pictures!
Two days ago, I felt really tired, although I slept for 12 hours. (Yes, I can do that, due to the holidays!) But still, I couldn’t bring myself to do something because I felt a bit down too. A 'To Do' list was waiting for me (fun things included), but i could only move from one couch to the other.
But in the late afternoon, I finally decided to go outside. I took the camera with me and started taking pictures around my house. You can see some of the pictures below. I always find it a challenge to discover the beautiful details in places i use to spend a lot of time (like in or around your house).
My cat Binkie did keep me company while I was taking pictures, so I also have some pictures of him, but that’s for another Binkie-photo series haha .
Some of the pictures were taken yesterday, when I tried to make some self-portraits and they actually turned out kinda nice. There are photos from my hot chocolate too, that I tried to make instagram-worthy.
I hope you like them, enjoy!
A few days ago, a good friend of mine, Nimsi, stayed at my house for two days. (Well of course, not 'my house', but my parents'.)
We had a lot of fun, and I watched "The Notebook" for the first time. You know, that romantic movie based on the novel written by Nicholas Sparks. Usually, I don't really like romantic movies. I'm more into superhero movies, like the ones from Marvel, or action movies like "Mission Impossible." But I did like "The Notebook", because it was a beautifull, simple story. (And though I don't like the word "cute", I also have to admit that the couple in the movie was really cute, hehe.)
Nimsi and I also made a walk in the forest next to my house. I had my camera with me; you can see the result in the pictures below. 🙂 Enjoy!
I've always wanted to take pictures at the beach, now I finally could do it! Two weeks ago, we were at the seaside for a weekend and the weather was just perfect! Last week, the weather was even better so we went again to the same camping and spend another three days at the beach. I really had a good time, just chilling on the beach, making bycicle tours, walking barefoot in the water...
I hope the pictures will send out a peaceful vibe that I feel everytime when I'm near by the ocean... :)
Hello! Here is another photography post about Paris. :) Well, these pictures are all taken in Versailles, where we spent our first morning. We accidentally walked two times through the palace, because my teacher couldn't find the exit. Lucky for me, because then I could take more photos. ;) To be honest, all the rooms in the palace looked the same to me. Maybe because every room was full of people. What I did like, was the Architecture. The bed where the king slept didn't interest me, but the details on the walls and the ceiling all the more! The gardens too where really beautiful! I truly enjoyed walking around in that huge garden full of geometric patterns. (Which are really photogenic as well!)
Hello! Thursday, my family and I went to Ostend. A lot of street artists have recently made beautiful art on blank walls and in open spaces. You can view the street art by following a route, but we only visited the ones in the centre of the city. Enjoy!
Welcome to my blog!
