These pictures are taken on my second trip to San Francisco, and this time I was able to get close to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. We also walked around Union Square, I loved seeing some more of the city and I hope to visit again some day!
I took these pictures when I visited San Francisco for the first time, in september 2018. I remember instantly liking the city, because of it's pretty architecture and steep roads. We spend most of our time at Pier 39, which is a very touristy place. I'm not a huge fan of those typical tourist places, but it was cool to see the sea lions! Through the mist, we could also see Alcatraz! It was a really sunny day, but don't let the pictures fool you, the wind was freezing!
In August 2018, some of my housemates and I decided we wanted to see the ocean. So we went on a spontaneous road tirip. (We literally decided this while we were in the car, on our way to some place) We drove for hours on a long windy road through the mountains. At a random little thrift store on the side of the road, I bought a shirt I could almost fit in twice. (I still have it and I wear it all the time when I'm at home.) Here are some pictures from our trip!
Last summer, I visited Rotterdam. In these photographs you can see Rotterdam through my eyes.
Last summer, I spent a day in Eindhoven with my parents. We found this huge thrift-store, it was so fun to look around! I can't wait to go thrifting again when I look at these pictures. :)
I took these pictures in the summer of 2018. At the time I was 17 years old, and in about a month I would leave my home country to go school in Redding, California. My parents and I went away together for a couple days before I would leave for 9 months. These pictures remind me of a beautiful time with family, and I treasure the memories they bring up. :)
Chasing everyone away
Back into their home
A safe place?
We don't mind the rain as long as we're inside
We are used to hide
The rain on the the glass creates
a blurry picture
so you can't really see
What's going on inside of me
Here is another series of pictures I took on my school trip to Croatia. I loved the pastel colors of the buildings, so pretty!
Croatia, April 2018.
I visited Porec, Rovinj and Pula in my last year of high school. Since we were there in april, outside of the tourist season, it wasn't busy at all. It was kind of a strange feeling walking through narrow streets with almost nobody there except us, a group of teenagers. I imagined being there in the summer, when it's hot, the streets are filled with people, noise, laughter... It's interesting how different a place appears and feels when there are more people, especially tourists visiting.
English: Photography is something I really enjoy doing. But writing blogposts… not so much. You may have noticed I nearly posted any of my photography on my blog this past year. I didn’t really make time for it and kept procrastinating because I never knew what to write. I still have so many pictures from my school trip to Istria, summer last year, California, Italy… And I want to show them to you! I am going to start uploading them on my blog every week (yay!), but just without (long) introductions that I felt like I had to write to make people want to see my pictures and want to see the full blogpost.
An image is worth a thousand words, right? So, I’ll just let them speak ;)
Welcome to my blog!
